Terms of Use for the "Chrumek" App
iOS (App Store)
Effective date: 23.04.2026
Version: 1.1
1. Information about the Service Provider
- The service provider making the "Chrumek" app (the "App") available is:
Canario-Lab / Chrumek App
E-mail: chrumek@chrumek.app
(the "Service Provider"). - These Terms set out the rules for using the App, including access to free and paid features.
2. Definitions
For the purposes of these Terms:
- User - a person using the App on an Apple device.
- Entry - information added in the App about a "declared saving" (for example skipping a purchase, choosing a cheaper alternative, or canceling a subscription) or other data entered by the User.
- Transfer / "Added to savings" - an action in the App confirming that money was actually set aside (moving entries from the "to transfer" list to history as "transferred / saved").
- Premium - paid access to the full functionality of the App, available either as a subscription or as a one-time lifetime purchase, depending on the offers available in the App Store.
3. Technical requirements
- Using the App requires a compatible Apple device and an iOS version supported by the App.
- Some features (in particular making a purchase, restoring purchases, or checking Premium status) require an Internet connection and an Apple ID account.
4. Nature of the App
- The App is designed to support the habit of saving by recording "temptations" and savings and by confirming that funds have actually been set aside.
- The App is not a financial service, is not a bank or financial advisor, does not execute transfers, and does not intermediate transactions.
- The Service Provider does not guarantee any specific savings results.
5. Data and privacy
- The App does not require account registration.
- Data entered in the App is generally stored locally on the User's device.
- The App may collect anonymous analytics events about feature usage, in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
- Detailed rules for data processing are described in the Privacy Policy.
6. Free features and Transfer limit
- The App offers access to free features and Premium features.
- A User without active Premium may perform up to 5 Transfers for free.
- After the limit of 5 Transfers is used, performing further Transfers requires active Premium access.
- The counter of used Transfers within the free limit:
- increases only after an actual Transfer is completed,
- is not reduced or reset after losing Premium access.
7. Premium, purchases, and payments
- Premium may be offered either as an auto-renewable subscription or as a one-time lifetime access purchase (a non-consumable In-App Purchase), processed by Apple (App Store).
- Subscription prices, billing periods, and available purchase options are shown on the purchase screen in the App and follow the App Store configuration.
- Payment is charged to the User's Apple ID account after purchase confirmation.
- The subscription renews automatically unless the User disables auto-renewal in Apple ID account settings with sufficient notice before the end of the current billing period. A lifetime access purchase is a one-time purchase and does not renew automatically.
- The Service Provider does not process the User's payment data (for example card details). Payment handling is provided by Apple.
8. RevenueCat (purchase handling and Premium access)
- The App may use RevenueCat services for the technical handling of purchases and Premium access (for example verifying Premium access status, presenting offers, and recognizing an active subscription or lifetime purchase).
- Purchases are processed by Apple, and RevenueCat supports verification and access status management in the App.
- Details of data processing in this scope are described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Restoring purchases
- The User may restore purchased subscriptions or a one-time lifetime access purchase on an Apple device (for example after reinstallation) in accordance with Apple's mechanisms and the "Restore purchase" function available in the App (if it is available in a given version).
10. Support and reporting issues
- The User may report technical problems to: chrumek@chrumek.app.
- If the App provides a "Report a bug" feature, the App may prepare a draft e-mail containing diagnostic data. The message is sent only after the User approves it.
11. Liability
- The Service Provider makes reasonable efforts to ensure the App works correctly; however, the App is provided "as is" and may contain errors or temporary interruptions.
- The Service Provider is not liable for:
- the User's financial decisions,
- the effects of actions taken based on data entered into the App,
- failure to achieve savings goals.
- The Service Provider's liability is limited to the extent permitted by applicable law.
12. Changes to the Terms
- These Terms may be amended in the event of changes to the App's functionality or legal or organizational changes.
- The current version of these Terms will be published at: https://chrumek.app/en/terms/.
13. Final provisions
- In matters not regulated by these Terms, the applicable provisions of law apply.
- If any provision of these Terms is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain in force.
